The Government of Andorra has approved an increase in the subsidy for FC Andorra, raising it from €500,000 to €850,000 for the year 2026. This decision underscores the national interest in supporting the club's presence in Spain's Segunda División.
In addition to FC Andorra, the government maintains a subsidy of €1.1 million for Morabanc Andorra, recognizing its participation in the Liga Endesa. The Ministry of Sports has also opened the call for subsidies for federations and historic clubs, with a total budget of €4.5 million. To ensure liquidity, 58% of this budget was advanced in January, and the deadline for applications is set for April 1.
