On January 24, 2026, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, announced plans to extend the implementation of the cooperation roadmap with the International Labour Organization (ILO) until the end of 2026. This decision follows the positive outcomes achieved under the 2024–2025 roadmap and aims to further enhance labor rights and working conditions in the country.
