Bahrain court orders firm to pay BD 3,000 for property deed delay

The High Court of Appeal in Bahrain upheld a lower court ruling ordering a company to pay BDè,000 in compensation to a citizen for delaying the delivery of a property title deed. The company breached its contractual obligations by failing to hand over the title deed for 18 months, despite the sales contract stipulating a three-month delivery period. The court confirmed the plaintiff's right to both material and moral damages. The prolonged delay caused the plaintiff financial losses and moral damages, as she was prevented from benefiting from the property during the delay period.
