Lawrie graduated with an LLB (Hons) in Law with Politics from the University of Chester and furthered her studies at the University of Law in Liverpool where she obtained her Legal Practice Certificate and a Master’s degree in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence. After completing her education, she returned to the Isle of Man to train as a Manx Advocate, successfully passing the Manx Bar exams in 2023 on her first attempt. She was called to the bar in February 2024.Lawrie practices Criminal Law and represents clients at the Police Station after arrest, and clients who have attended the Police Station on a voluntary basis. Lawrie represents Clients in both the Summary Courts and the Court of General Gaol Delivery in a wide range of matters such as theft, drugs and driving offences. Additionally, Lawrie advises in Personal Injury and Medical Negligence Law, handling a diverse range of claims including Road Traffic Accidents, Accident’s at Work and individuals who have sustained injuries as a result of medical treatment. She is dedicated to ensuring her clients receive the fair outcomes they deserve.Lawrie also assists in Family Law in both matrimonial and child matters.
