Claire joined our team in May 2020 having been called to the Manx Bar in 2015.  Claire joined the board as a Director in April 2023.Claire specialises in handling divorces, including all financial aspects of separation including financial claims for children. Claire further handles various matters regarding children including contact and residence matters, specific issue orders and prohibited steps orders. In addition, Claire has dealt with various applications to return children to the jurisdiction of the Isle of Man when they have been unilaterally removed and applications regarding the relocation of children. In addition to the above Claire specialises in drafting Separation agreements, Prenuptial agreements and Cohabitation agreements. Claire has extensive experience in relation to domestic violence matters and obtaining non molestation and occupation orders. Claire also has experience with application for Care Proceedings, Adoptions and Surrogacy Parental Orders.Alongside these, Claire is an expert in wills and probate matters, including Enduring Powers of Attorney. She also assists with alcohol licensing applications for designated officials.
