Valérie has been serving banks for over twenty years, providing both advisory and litigation services in areas such as traditional banking law (liability disputes, particularly related to payment orders, insolvency proceedings, financing, and drafting of contractual documentation) as well as in the more specialized fields of international banking law and trade finance.She works with large French banks, French branches of foreign banks, and banks specializing in specific sectors or countries.In addition to her banking practice, Valérie also handles commercial litigation and international arbitration.She has always been involved in teaching, at universities, business schools, and the Paris Bar School, particularly in banking law, special contracts, litigation, and insolvency procedures.Valérie also provides various banking law training courses to the legal, technical, and commercial departments of banks.Valérie joined the Vatier Law Firm in January 2020. She previously worked at the firms Bernard-Hertz-Béjot, Bignon & Lebray, Alérion, and Adamas. Valérie further honed her knowledge of legal English and the Anglo-Saxon legal system at the law firm Cravath, Swayne & Moore in New York.
