On March 10, 2026, a round-table meeting was held in Andorra la Vella to discuss the country's implementation of the Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings. The event gathered 33 representatives from government agencies, public bodies, and civil society to evaluate progress and identify areas for improvement.

Joan Antoni León Peso, Secretary of State for Justice and the Interior, opened the meeting by reaffirming Andorra’s dedication to combating human trafficking. He emphasized the necessity for coordinated action among public authorities, judicial institutions, specialized professionals, and civil society to effectively address this issue.
Andorra is expected to report to the Committee of the Parties on the measures taken to comply with its recommendations by June 21, 2026. This report will detail the steps implemented to enhance the country's efforts in preventing and combating human trafficking.
