Somalia signs Mombasa Declaration to combat illegal fishing

On June 17, 2026, during the 11th Our Ocean Conference in Mombasa, Kenya, Somalia, along with 14 other nations, signed the Mombasa Declaration to intensify efforts against illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing.
