Dominica to Establish Creative Economy Development Agency

Dominica has announced plans to establish the Dominica Creative Economy Development Agency (DCEDA) to support musicians, artists, filmmakers, designers, and other cultural practitioners. The initiative aims to provide coordinated government support to the creative sector, fostering economic growth and cultural development. Finance Minister Dr. Irving McIntyre revealed this plan during the 2026/2027 National Budget presentation, highlighting the government's commitment to nurturing the creative industries as a vital component of the national economy.
