Brunei's Sultan Chairs First Cabinet Meeting Post-Reshuffle

The meeting commenced with the recital of Doa Selamat by Minister of Religious Affairs, Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan. New Cabinet Composition

The new cabinet, sworn in on June 8, 2026, comprises 17 ministers and 4 deputy ministers appointed for a four-year term. Notably, the Sultan's sons, Prince Abdul Malik and Prince Abdul Mateen, have been appointed as Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Minister of Foreign Affairs, respectively.
