The raid took place at approximately 10:30 PM, targeting a residential property suspected of hosting illegal gambling activities, specifically games known as "Pai Gou" and "Lami." The arrested individuals comprised 18 men and 16 women, aged between 32 and 84, including both local citizens and foreign nationals of Malay and Chinese descent.

Seizures and Legal Proceedings

Authorities confiscated cash totaling BND43,192.77, believed to be linked to the gambling activities. All suspects and seized items were taken to the USPPPM for further investigation. The case is being investigated under the Common Gaming Houses Act (Chapter 28), which prohibits organizing, managing, or participating in unauthorized gambling activities.
