This change is stipulated in Decree No. 62/2026/ND-CP, issued on February 13, 2026, which amends previous regulations governing the establishment and operation of such offices. • Faster Licensing Decisions: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) is required to grant or deny licenses within 14 working days upon receiving a valid application.

• Personnel Review: Competent authorities are responsible for assessing the proposed head of the representative office in Vietnam, especially if a personnel change is involved.
