Sierra Leone's Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Alpha Sesay Esq., provided key updates on the country's constitutional review process and justice sector reforms during an appearance on AYV News on March 4, 2025.
He emphasized the government's commitment to enhancing democratic governance, strengthening the rule of law, and improving access to justice for all citizens. He commended the government's proactive measures under the leadership of President Julius Maada Bio to protect marginalized groups and promote equality, including strengthening legal protections against gender-based violence and promoting the rights of women and children.
