St. Kitts and Nevis Advances Legislative Agenda for Good Governance

On December 18, 2025, Attorney General and Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, the Honourable Garth Wilkin, outlined the government's commitment to strengthening good governance and national development through an ambitious legislative agenda. Over the past year, the administration passed 22 impactful new laws, totaling 87 in three years. Key legislation includes the Advanced Passenger Information and Passenger Name Record Act, facilitating the new electronic travel authorization system, and the Extradition Act, enhancing compliance with international crime prevention standards. Other significant laws encompass the Proceeds of Crime and Asset Recovery Act and the Anti-Terrorism (Amendment) Act, reflecting the government's dedication to modernizing the legal framework and ensuring accountability.
