The Tanga Regional Commissioner, Hon. Ambassador Dr. Batilda Burian, has called upon residents of Tanga and neighboring regions to attend the official launch of the Regional Legal Advisory Committees and a subsequent free legal aid clinic. The events are scheduled to take place from March 9 to March 15, 2026, at the Tangamano grounds in Tanga City.
The establishment of these committees is part of the government's strategy to bring legal services closer to the people and to resolve various social challenges and disputes. The legal clinic aims to provide free legal assistance to citizens, addressing issues such as land disputes, family matters, and other legal concerns.
Hon. Dr. Batilda emphasized the government's dedication to ensuring that citizens have easy access to legal services to overcome various conflicts and challenges. She expressed gratitude to the Office of the Attorney General for facilitating the clinic and deploying State Attorneys to serve citizens dealing with legal issues.
