Court Sets Aside Freezing Order in Forbes Monaco APAC Case

The Singapore High Court has set aside a freezing order in a case involving Forbes Monaco APAC, a business registered by Mr. David Max Pierre Mezhrahid. The case was initiated by Mr. Mezhrahid, who alleged that he was legally trained and had registered the business with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) in March 2025. He listed Mr. Kawajiri Seiji as a partner without his consent.

Mr. Mezhrahid, acting on behalf of Forbes Monaco APAC, sought a freezing order over Mr. Kawajiri's assets, which was initially granted. However, upon further examination, the court found that Mr. Mezhrahid had misled the court by registering the business without Mr. Kawajiri's knowledge and by citing fictitious legal authorities in support of his arguments.

Justice Chiah Kok Khun emphasized the importance of honesty and integrity in legal proceedings. The court's decision to set aside the freezing order underscores the judiciary's commitment to upholding justice and deterring abuse of the legal system.
