Samoa
The United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) is set to review Samoa's compliance with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities during its session from March 9 to 26, 2026. This review will assess Samoa's implementation of the Convention and the Committee's previous recommendations.
Samoa is among the 193 States Parties to the Convention, which mandates regular reviews by the CRPD. These reviews are conducted by 18 independent international experts who evaluate how each country is upholding the rights of persons with disabilities.
