On December 1, 2025, Vietnam and Laos signed a Cooperation Agreement between their Ministries of Justice for the period 2026-2030. The agreement focuses on exchanging experiences in legislation development, law enforcement, judicial administration, and legal education. It also emphasizes the application of information technology and artificial intelligence in legal practices, aiming to strengthen the legal and judicial cooperation between the two nations.
