Botswana to Launch Specialized Commercial Court in March

Botswana is set to launch a specialized commercial court in March, aimed at expediting the resolution of commercial disputes and supporting the country's ease of doing business agenda. Chief Justice Gaolapelwe Ketlogetswe announced this development during the opening of the 2026 Legal Year in Gaborone. The commercial court will deal exclusively with commercial matters, facilitating a more efficient business environment.
