A new complaint has been filed in Belgium against Patrick Bruel. The 66-year-old singer and actor has previously faced allegations of sexual violence from several women in recent years.
One of the accusers spoke publicly last week in the Belgian newspaper La Dernière Heure (DH). She has now taken formal legal action, filing a complaint with Belgian authorities on Tuesday.
Patrick Bruel has faced similar accusations in France in the past, which he has denied. To date, those cases have not resulted in any final criminal conviction. This new complaint in Belgium could, however, lead to further legal proceedings depending on the outcome of any investigation.
