On August 22, 2025, Uzbekistan announced plans to implement a Digital Court system to enhance judicial efficiency and reduce paperwork.
Modern courtrooms equipped with digital technologies will be established in Tashkent as a pilot project before 2026, with plans to expand nationwide by 2027. Court cases will be conducted entirely digitally, and appeals will be accepted online.
From January 1, 2026, inter-district, district, and city economic courts will be abolished and replaced with inter-district economic courts in regional centers to improve judicial efficiency and accessibility for entrepreneurs.
These initiatives aim to modernize Uzbekistan's judicial system and enhance access to justice.
