Putin authorizes state control over unprotected infrastructure
Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree allowing the state to assume temporary management of critical infrastructure facilities if their owners fail to protect them from security threats, including drone attacks. The decree encompasses sectors such as fuel and energy, industry, communications, and transportation. This measure follows a series of Ukrainian drone strikes targeting Russian oil industry sites and logistics centers. The temporary administrator, designated by the government, will oversee the facility's assets and operations to ensure security and stability.
