The President acknowledged the challenges facing the judicial system, including case backlogs and resource constraints. In response to concerns about the safety of judges, magistrates, and legal practitioners, President Nandi-Ndaitwah announced the establishment of a task force to review and address security challenges within the judiciary. She stressed that no officer of the court should perform their duties under threat or intimidation.
