Bahrain's Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, in coordination with the Supreme Judicial Council, announced that starting March 8, 2026, all civil court hearings will be conducted online. The remote litigation service, accessible via the ministry's official website, offers secure login through the upgraded Electronic Key 2.0, allowing biometric verification without passwords. Judges will fully supervise online sessions, enabling parties to share documents electronically and present arguments live, ensuring legal guarantees and fair trial rights are upheld. This initiative aims to make civil court services more accessible, faster, and secure for all in Bahrain.
